Monica Lewinsky is bringing up the past again speaking out about how her life was affected from her affair with president Clinton. It has been ten years since she has been in the public eye. She says that the Clinton’s never paid her off like many people were lead to believe as to why she was keeping quite, she says she was afraid to talk. But now it seems she is trying to re-brand herself, she wants to shake her past and change her reputation for the future “I want to give purpose to my past”.

This is a link to the Vanity Fair teaser the actual article wont be released fr a few more days…

I am not so sure I believe much of what is being shared in this article, that she turned down jobs that would pay her $10 million dollars because she “didn’t think it was the right thing to do”. And that if she didn’t speak out about the affair that she would commit suicide it seems a bit dramatic to me especially when it’s been more than ten years since her scandal broke.

I think she is just bringing up the past to remind the Clinton’s that the scandal will never be forgotten. Recently the Clinton’s have had a lot of good press their daughter Chelsea just announced that she is pregnant with her first child and there is rumor that Hillary may run for president in 2016.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see if Monica can re-brand her self in a more positive light.
